On the way to Parry Sound! We had a stop in Barrie which is halfway to Parry Sound. From left to right you see Sarah, Stephanie and Mike. The cottage we are heading to is Mike's Parents.

That's me sitting on Stephanie's car, still in Barrie.

This is the front view of the cottage. It was just HUGE, in between all trees... let the relaxing begin.

This is a right-angle view taken from the balcony.

Sarah on the balcony.

Stephanie and me standing on the floating dock. Next to this dock is another dock that was covered by dock spiders. These are palm sized spiders that are just sitting there waiting for prey, but don't piss them off, because some will bite.

This was our first boat ride there and it was just great. The water...the trees...the sun, it just looks so incredible. On this ride we also saw a huge turtle resting on a log. Unfortunately we don't have a picture, since it was just to far for a camera lens.

This is Peter and Mike. Peter is a friend of Mike's sister who was there too with her boyfriend, they left the next day though.

Around the cottage is a lot of wild life, but some animals are pretty tame and use to civilization, like this little chipmunk. It is eating out of Stephanie's hand.

I had more luck. I was feeding a raccoon. They are soo cute, but you have to watch out... as friendly as they seem to, they can still bite you if you suddenly move. I played it safe and threw the marshmellows (which they love) on the floor.

Stephanie and I sitting on the floating dock acting crazy.

Mike is giving me instructions about how to drive a jet ski. The instructions sounded easy enough, but the actual driving...

...that was a totally different story...

...it was so hard to keep your balance. Eventually I succeeded to drive that thing, but only on my knees. As soon I would stand up I would fall off again.

Also tubing wasn't the best thing to do for me. Here I am still looking all fine, but a couple of minutes after this picture was taken I hit a wave through a curve. This launched me at least 12 feet (about 4 meters) up in the sky...total silence...it felt like slow motion...until I hit the water again. I was in pain...a lot of pain. Luckily I came butt first in the water, but it feels like landing on concrete. It knocked the air out of me and I was so glad I had a life jacket on. I wanted to quit right away, but after I climbed on the tube again I didn't wanted to stop at all, although I asked Mike not to go as fast anymore. My back and neck were stiff for a couple of days and you can still see a bruise (week later) on my butt.

Sarah was doing a better job, although the tube flipped over backwords twice, Sarah just didn't plan onletting go. Pretty impressive.

After the tubing adventure it was time to relax again.

The picture doesn't show it, but Sarah took it because Stephanie and Mike were arguing about the way Mike was putting sunscreen on Stephanie's back. When Sarah grabbed the camera it cracked them up.

More relaxing.

I actually had to wait taking a picture until they were both on their floating gear, but seeing them struggle was just too much fun.

After a couple of minutes of laughing and trying they managed to climb on their floating devices.

This was the last boat ride. The rock wall you see behind me is used by people who climb on it and then jump off it into the water.

Before we went we wanted to have a group picture, since we didn't have one yet.

Stephanie was so sweet to take one more picture of Sarah and me. I just had the best time there. The whole vacation just felt like if it was grabbed out of a movie. Here a special thanks for Mike and Stephanie for asking us over!
