Saturday August 31 Sarah and I went to Ottawa for a long weekend to visit family (Sarah's brother and my aunt).

This was the kick of for a 5 and a half our trip, but the time really flies.

Around lunch time we arrived in Ottawa, so we went out for lunch. Next to me is my aunt Linda, than Sarah's brother Jonh (Linda and John are married (for the ones who didn't know that yet)) and to the other site of Sarah is Oma Elsa. She is the second wife of my mothers father and Linda is her daughter, wich makes my mom and Linda half sisters. I have another aunt (Hilda) living in Ottawa, but she was visiting her husbands (Wayne) family in America, so unfortunately we didn't met them. And I have an uncle (George) living nearby Ottawa whom I didn't see also. I guess he was busy working or something.

The second day we went out to a party of Johns co-workers. When we arrived, there was nobody, not even the host. He did leave a message that he was doing groseries and that he was coming back soon. In the meanwhile...we were allowed to feel ourself at home. First we thought we were just going to wait till he came back...

...but after a while we thought "Let's have a party without him" :-)

At this time the host was already back...

...and soon also the other guests arrived.

This was the last day. We had lunch at Kelly's and I had my last beer there for that weekend. Yes I still only drink in weekends :-)
