It was Sarah's meaning to organise a surprise party for me, but because of the wedding it didn't really work out. We decided to go out for dinner with a group of friends at Jack Asstor's (for short Jack Ass) the Saturday before my birthday (the 23rd) and we had a terrific dinner. On this picture you see from left to right Mike and Stephanie (husband and wife) and Tara.

When we got the dessert I had to stand on the chair with one hand on my side and the other (bent like the spout of a teapot) beside me. When the waiters began to sing I had to move from side to side.

After dinner we went to a hockey arena to watch the finals of an ice hockey game. Ben was playing for the red team (number 19).

The Red team, which Ben was a part of, eventually won with 5 - 0. Here you see Ben in front of the picture after he got the medal.

This is my actual birthday (the 26th) I could decide what I wanted to eat for dinner. I chose for spaghetti ;-)
